Following an extensive audit process, Windsor Waste Management Ltd (WWM) are proud to have maintained and upheld one of the highest standards of fleet operations recognition status, achieving reaccreditation of FORS Silver.
Since achieving accreditation of FORS Silver back in January 2020 and despite the challenges of the Covid-19 global pandemic, WWM has continued to invest in raising standards in the safety and environmental efficiency of our fleet operations, including the implementation of the latest version of our fleet management software, ISYS
Weighsoft 5.
Investment in this new technology has provided numerous benefits supporting our accreditation status, including a customer portal, fully integrated reporting, driver tablets and a multi-vehicle operations screen which gives our transport team complete visibility of the workload for the whole fleet, allowing us to respond to our customer’s needs with even greater efficiency. Additionally, it provides functionality to support the management of our compliance obligations such as defect reporting and rectification ensuring we continue to maintain the highest standards of safety.
The aim of the FORS scheme is to raise the level of quality in fleet operations and to demonstrate and set apart those operators which achieve exemplary levels of best practice in safety, addressing areas such as improved road safety, reduction of fuel emissions and enhanced communications to ensure company-wide alignment of the FORS principles.
Tony Windsor, Owner and Founder commented:
