After a comprehensive 4-day audit process by DNV, we are delighted to announce that Windsor Integrated Services Group (WISG) of which Hazibag is a part of, has successfully achieved transition to the new health and safety standard ISO 45001 and received a positive ‘health check’ for ISO9001 and ISO14001. These standards give our customers, employees and partners confidence in the safe and compliant processes we operate and quality assurance of the services we provide.
The key objective of audit is to determine the conformity of our management system with the relevant ISO standards and to evaluate its effectiveness to ensure WISG is capable to achieve specific objectives and meet statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements.
The audit focused on a number of areas across the business and WISG achieved the highest possible ratings in areas relating to service provision and sound waste management practices. This took account a number of innovations and new systems implemented across the business since our last audit including a new business operating system which provides improved customer communication through real time automated notifications and alerts.
Tony Windsor, Group Owner and Founder commented: “This achievement is testament to our resolve to push on with investments in our processes and technologies so that we can deliver a better customer experience, despite the challenges of the last 18 months. It is also credit to the hard work and dedication of the team and should give our customers the confidence and reassurance of our continued commitment to raising standards in the industry.”
Lorraine Harrison, Auditor commented: “The DNV external audit took place last week, from 13-16 September. The focus areas for the audit included, integration of business processes within the Windsor Integrated Services Group (WISG), service provision, and waste management practices that ensure legal compliance. The overall result of the audit was positive, and on the basis of audit evidence, the management system has successfully transitioned to the new ISO Standard for Occupational Health & Safety, ISO 45001. Continued certification to ISO 9001 and 14001 has also been achieved."
