Hazibag was a finalist in the 2012 Australasian Waste & Recycling Expo Innovation Awards last month.

The prestigious awards recognise new products, processes and systems that 'strive to perform beyond what is considered achievable' and which encourage growth and improve standards in their industry sector.

Hazibag was shortlisted as the first purpose-designed flexible intermediate bulking container (FIBC) that enables safer containment, transport and disposal of hazardous waste including asbestos, medical waste, contaminated soils and toxic wood and plants.

The awards were held on Wednesday 21st November at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
